Melbourne – Jeep Australia has sharpened the price of its most luxurious Grand Cherokee ever, the Summit Reserve 4xe Plug-In Hybrid, now available from $77,760 MSRP – but only 90 examples remain.
The move brings Jeep’s premium electrified SUV into sharper reach while keeping all the trimmings – capability, luxury and advanced tech – intact.
Under the skin, the 4xe pairs a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with two electric motors and a 17.3kWh battery, delivering 280kW, 637Nm and 52km electric-only range (NEDC). Combined fuel economy is a thrifty 3.2L/100km.
Standard kit reads like a wish list: quilted Palermo leather, 19-speaker McIntosh audio, 21-inch alloys, panoramic sunroof, Quadra-Trac II 4×4 with Quadra Lift air suspension, 360° camera, active driving assist, and a head-up display. Options include night vision with pedestrian and animal detection, and an interactive passenger display.
Inside, there’s 4,095L of passenger space and 1,067L of cargo volume behind the second row. Safety credentials are equally solid, with a 5-star ANCAP rating and features including autonomous emergency braking, active lane management, drowsy driver detection and intersection collision assist.
Backing the package is the Jeep Wave Commitment: five-year/100,000km warranty, capped-price servicing and roadside assist for the warranty term when serviced through Jeep.
With stock tight and a spec sheet aimed squarely at the premium SUV set, Jeep says this could be the moment for buyers to combine zero-emission capability with long-haul luxury.
